🛍️ AI for thrift shoppers & resellers

Turn thrift finds into clear listings in minutes, not hours.

You found the great jacket. Now comes the slow part: writing the title, describing every flaw, answering "is this still available?" for the tenth time. AI can draft your listing from a photo, tell you exactly what to research before you set a price, write polite replies to lowballers and keep your inventory in one tidy table. You still check real sold prices and authenticity yourself. AI just clears the busywork so you can get back to the hunt.

Works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Copilot · free versions are fine

🔎 Check before you list
AI can’t verify that an item is authentic, and it often guesses brands and eras. Look up real sold listings for pricing, follow each marketplace’s rules, and never list counterfeits or recalled items.

5 copy-paste prompts

1. Listing from a photo

I'm uploading photos of an item I'm selling on [EBAY /
FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE / POSHMARK / ETSY]. Write a title
(within the site's title limit) and a clear description:
brand, size, color, material, measurements I should add,
and any flaws I can see. Don't guess the brand or era if
you can't tell; mark it [CHECK].

2. What should I research first?

Before I price this [ITEM], tell me exactly what to look up:
which keywords to search in SOLD listings, which details
change the value (tags, model numbers, condition), and
red flags for fakes. Don't give me a price.

3. Friendly buyer replies

Write short, friendly replies for these buyer messages:
1) “Is this still available?” 2) a lowball offer of [$]
3) “Can you ship today?” Keep my price at [$] but stay
polite.

4. Should I buy it?

I'm in a thrift store looking at [ITEM] for [$]. Ask me 5
quick yes/no questions that help me decide whether it's
worth researching, based on condition, brand and demand.

5. Simple inventory sheet

Make a simple inventory table with columns: SKU, item,
cost, date bought, where listed, list price, sold price,
fees, profit. Fill in these items: [LIST].
Tip: remove names, account numbers and anything private before you paste. The first answer is a draft; ask it to fix what’s off.
